Natasha Khan Kazi is an author and illustrator who was born in Bangladesh and immigrated to the U.S. when she was 5 years old. An ELL student, picture books were Natasha’s window into English and western culture, and she always dreamed of sharing her own stories one day. Natasha has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and over fourteen years of experience in storytelling, social media, and online community building. Combining her passion for education and art, she launched Islamimommy (www.islamimommy.com), a platform for Islamic education through arts and crafts. Natasha started putting in her ten thousand hours to be an artist as soon as she could hold a crayon. Into adulthood, she spent evenings drawing, learning, painting, and drawing some more. She currently lives in a California beach city with her family of picture book readers. In her spare time, she loves thrift store treasure hunting and learning about new cultures. Natasha has two picture books forthcoming with Versify/HarperCollins, debuting with MOON’S RAMADAN in 2023.
