John Austin graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Product Design and was immediately recruited by Hasbro toys. He was a respected senior toy designer in the Boy's Research and Development Department for five years, during which time he created and shipped more than 200 items under some of Hasbro's biggest brands; Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Tween Electronics, and more. He has also personally pitched and presented a few of his projects to Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, EA Sports and Industrial Light and Magic. Trained in 3D computer modeling, illustration, and product sketching, he brings many of these skills when creating his books and ancillary products.
